My Defining Moment in BMT

It has been more than 55 days since I enlisted into the Army and started to train as a soldier.

It was an experience that I had never gone through in my life. Back then, for the past 20 years or so, I live a carefree life, taking for granted what I have every day, and thinking that all these will not be taken away. I slept at whatever time I please and I come home and leave my house whenever I want to, and even though my Mum cooks occasionally, I would always prefer eating out and skipping dinner at home.

Fast forward to 55 days ago, I landed on an unfamiliar ground in an offshore island called Tekong alongside many unknown faces, many whom I was unaware will become close brothers whom would encourage me along the many adversities we would face in the coming months. The first week of BMT started off as a really dull and gloomy week for me, we were living in groups of 16 in a bunk and many of us started the week missing home, living with whatever bare provisions the Army have to offer. It was a relatively new experience and we were forced to adapt fast to the fact that we have started to train as soldiers and are no longer the civilians we used to be.

Finally my defining moment came when I was having my SOC and during my field camp. Unlike many of my peers who are agile and nimble when it comes to the SOC, I was very much the opposite, I was acrophobic since I was young and I have an unfounded fear of heights. And as expected, I failed to get across the APEX ladder and balancing beam despite countless attempts to do so. Each time I went to the top of the APEX ladder, my legs shiver uncontrollably from the fear of falling and it reached till a point I felt like giving up. It was only during one such failed attempt that Captain Evwin happened to supervise our training on the top of the APEX ladder that I managed to cross over it with his help. With that successful completion of crossing over the APEX ladder that time, I was made more confident of heights and crossed over more easily the next time around.

Another defining moment came when we were having our field camp, the 4 days 3 nights of being outfield was a mentally torturing experience, being made to bathe with powder every day and being caked in the face with camo cream all day, it came to a part that I question myself if I am able to endure the next few days missing my family and not having the luxuries of communicating to the outside world. On the third day, I received a letter from my girlfriend of 2 years; at the end of the letter it wrote “Remember! Do not be despaired, lift your chin, smile and think positively.” It was just a very simple sentence, but it was one that brought tears to my eyes because it was something that I have forgotten in all the negativity that have overcame me.

It was then that I realised I myself had been the adversity that I have to overcome in BMT, it wasn’t the trainings that were tough and that I have failed to overcome the APEX ladder because I was afraid, because I was certain I can’t overcome my fear of heights. It became apparent to me that if I steel myself mentally to overcome all hardships that were to follow, I will be able to make it through all of them.
BMT have made me a stronger person as a result, and it had been an elevating experience to know more about myself that I have ever known in the past 20 years of my life.

2 weeks more to POP.

It's been more than a month since I've last log in in to my account and wrote an entry here. And there is only just 2 more weeks before I POP from BMTC. As much as I would love to get out of Tekong, I will also reminisce the memories all of us had together in the past 2 months.

AGR, BCCT, SOC, ST, IPPT, HG, and the many more acronyms that we started out being unfamiliar with, that now every mention will bring a sigh or two from us. We have started out as boys who were untrained and unfamiliar with the path we are venturing into, and came out as trained soldiers a mere 2 months later. BMT journey has indeed been a short one as my friends have said, and a meaningful one as well. We went through an accelerated learning process, learning how to differentiate different characters that we work with daily, going through the same regimentation so rountinely that everything now is just all in a day's work for us.

This week had been a really fast week for me, went through the COMPASS test for the Air Force Vocations that I have expressed interest in, (I didn't sign any contracts) had a tour of the Army Museum at Discovery Centre on Friday and booked out right after that, yesterday at around 5pm. The days before these two events were pretty uneventful and pretty much the rountine stuff like rehearsing for our POP on the 8th as well as going through the BCCT rifle combat drills. Friday was SOC test and well, I failed it as expected.

Good evening my readers who have been avidly reading my blog, be it juniors, relatives or just some random friends whom I haven't met or talked to in quite awhile. Just to update you guys, I have been doing fine in Tekong, the food is still pretty much alright and I have gotten used to the life inside over the 18 days of confinement. At the start it felt dreadfully long, but the friendship that had been made over the past few weeks kept all of us inside going on, even though most of us missed the outside world and crave for food that we have not yet tasted for quite some time.

The funny thing about life on Tekong is that while all the materialistic wants were devoid of during the past weeks(we didn't want to buy any ipad, iphones), we crave for simple things like chocolates, ice-creams and sweets during our days there. Such desires were fulfilled during our one and only canteen break during National Day where many of us purchased simple things like biscuits, soft drinks and other snacks that you will simply walk past without a second glance in the super-mart. Life inside is also very regimental and very routine, simple things like drinking water, going up a pull-up bar follows a very procedural way of asking for permission or reciting the core values of SAF. Such routines had also carved out a place inside of us, and didn't take much time to get used to. But in any way, I am adapting very well still and I will be booking in again tomorrow at 1749hrs. Will be back in a week's time.

I had one of my best holidays after graduation for at least a couple of months, the colleagues whom I got acquainted with in Robinsons, past trainings with SAFRA Dragonboat, the trip to Taiwan(which I have regretfully not uploaded all the photos, the 1000s of them) where I first rode a bike on the busy streets of a foreign country and the wonderful memories created with my lovely girlfriend. Monday will be the day when I will finally enlist in the Army at 12.45. I don't really know what awaits me at the other side of sunny Tekong Island, but I hope that these 9 weeks in BMT would be one that would create memories I would not forget in my entire life as my friends have said.

Made the necessary purchasing of items today, left with just a couple of items such as an alarm clock, a pair of new goggles and a couple of clothes hanger to bring over to my new living space. As much as I dread the coming of Monday, I had a couple of reasons to rejoice, my dragonboat teammate, Jin Hwee will be enlisting the same time and date with me; whereas a few of my friends are currently serving in Tekong as sergeants or officers. This probably would be my last entry here before my first bookout 2 weeks later, so for those of you who are carrying your life as usual in the mainland, do take care of yourself. Especially Crystal and the rest of my family.

Good Evening Mr Loh,

I wrote this letter to thank you for my continuation of studies after I failed my my modules back in 2009.

Today as I graduate from Singapore Polytechnic, I was really grateful to you that I have completed my studies and was awarded my diploma. Back then even when I was unrepentant and often skip your JAVA tutorials and lectures, you helped me during the appeal session in DMIT's office by persuading them that I was still redeemable and I should continue studies and not drop out from school. This little action might seem little to you, but a few weeks later when I received a letter from SP informing me that I was accepted back into my course, I was adamant not to fail another module to let down my parents or the lecturers who have held hope in me. As I graduate today, I held on to the belief that if I persevere in anything i do, I will one day succeed.

Though today I didn't graduate with any honors or awards, I was really glad that you have inspired me to do better in life. Thank You Mr Loh.

Just a little more than a month more before the MR500 race, I am mentally and physically unprepared for it. Juggling studies and dragon-boat is really a mistake, I err so much on Sunday's training that I felt so disappointed for being in the main team. I wasn't prepared at all, I wish I could have more time to catch with the rest, I regret that one time I missed training that I could have caught up abit more with the rest.

Been listening lately to fast paced music in hope that the days will pass by faster, but apparently it wasn't really working out so well. Demonstration today for the Final Year Project went smoother than expected, definitely in terms of my initiate fear that we might have a re-demonstration was unfounded. Study plans this weekend have to be shelved when my dragon-boat teammate called and informed me I have been placed in the competition team for the coming MR500! Definitely very happy, but I will need to step up my training intensity everyday if I am not to be a burden to the team. Hopefully at the end of these 8 weeks or so before the competition I will be able to reach the standards of some of the senior rowers in the team.

Since I haven't been blogging for the past few days I guess now is a good time to wish all my readers(if there's any left) a Happy Chinese New Year!

The past few days have been a relatively new experience for me, with my family overseas for a period of 5 days. I've cooked for myself(not the first time) during my mealtimes, did my own laundry(definitely the first time) and spent a slightly boring Chinese New Year wasting myself at home. This week have been a really busy week for me, even though all the notions of anything related to school will possibly be at the back of my head in less than 2 weeks time. Ethical Hacking project submission and FYP final demonstration this Friday, Project Management presentation this Thursday.

Its not hard to see how flustered I am over all these deadlines when you see me out these couple of days.

So well, no Happy Chinese New Year for me. Just want to tide over all these shit fast.

And so its the end of one year and the start of another, the reason that I didn't update my blog for more than a month was that phase 1 of my final year project took off a huge chunk of my time during the end of the year in 2010. The remainder of the time was spent on more worthwhile things(to me) like going to the gym, out with girlfriend, for dragon-boat trainings during the weekends and the occasional meetups with the cliques. There haven't been any life changing life situations that placed me on a different route I might want to take, but its hard not to think of the future at times when graduation felt more close than ever in the past 3 years. I have taken a path that have been longer than the rest, but the friends I have met along the way and the obstacles I have been through in this 4 years of school was one that will probably stay with me till the end of my life.

For those of you who are probably interested in reading further about how I spent my December(which is likely the reason you have read through the above wall of text till here).

18th December 2010 - 19th December 2010

Dropped by Aspiration camp to see how CSCC is doing after nearly one year of being absent from its activities. Well, it does feels good to go down and see a couple of familiar faces again, get a feel of the camp that I myself was heavily involved in two year back. Then again, the wheel of time turns, and ages come and pass and its probably not our time anymore.

After Aspiration camp was a short trip down to Bugis for Hwee Sheng's belated birthday celebration at Illuma's Pasta De Waraku.

24th December 2010

Spent Christmas Eve with a very special bunch of new friends this year. Went down to Crystal's secondary school friend's house to have a buffet meal of cooked and catered food before playing Monopoly Deal cards, and then a short session of Blackjack before the very customary Christmas gift exchange session and a short birthday celebration for those who were born in November and December.

29th December 2010

The last day of the year was spent celebrating Wen Jing's birthday at The Central's Mr Curry with the rest of the peeps before heading down to Boat Quay and finding out Settler's Cafe was fully booked. After a short walk at the waterfront area, Crystal and I went down to Kenneth's place over at Sembawang to spend the last minutes of our 2010 with the rest of the clique playing Wii, PS3 and card games till the wee hours of the morning before taking the cab back home.

In case you were wondering, Hwee Sheng and I were trying to look ghostly above the spotlight near the Raffles Landing Site infront of Timbre.

Well, its been quite awhile since I've blogged.

And many things have happened while I was away from here. For one, my stint at Tampines North Dragonboat team have finally came to an end. Somehow, all of it felt like it had never ended, because all the times we have spent together feels so vivid in my mind. Sometimes when I take the train to Bedok, I feel like I have revisited a part of my past when all of us were still training at Bedok reservoir, the tiring times, the times I fucked up the first few times I tried my hands at coxing and made everyone paddle alot more than they should. Learning how to row with my buddies, taking the boat with Dylan. And the times when we lost when we all shared our disappointment at what we could have done to win the race.

I guess yesterday's mini social experiment proved one thing, most of the people I know on Facebook doesn't remember my birthday! HAHAHAHA.

I don't know whether I was being mean changing my date of birthday in the middle of the day at a point where I felt bored and fatigued by the day's activities but it just proves that by today's standards most of the people out there are getting more reliant on technology to give them reminders on things in life. I was really surprised quite a few of my good friends don't remember my birthday is at the end of November every year.

In anyway, I wasn't angry, I wasn't really sad because I just changed my date of birth all in the name of fun to get some laugh out of my boring day, and it pretty much worked. By lunch time people I knew were coming up to me asking if it's my birthday, and it led me to a bit of hesitation whether I should lie right through my teeth that it was, but I would have probably invited much more trouble if I did. Since I can imagine someone running up to me with a cake in hand, then I would had carried my joke a little way off.

It's been quite awhile since I have been back to blog here, and I guess this time I am back to blogging won't be for the long run as well, there's pretty much track to cover for the rest of my semester and I have got quite abit on my hands for the rest of the year if I want to do well for this semester.

Nevertheless, this is what I have been up to for these past couple of weeks.

Its been another really great day today, Crystal finally finished her papers after eons of studying and I was really glad all her efforts for staying up late for her projects paid off; and she was really contented when she saw the marks they she had got.

Today was just another simple day for the two of us. She came over to Yishun after her papers and a short pre-internship briefing and we both had her favourite Subway for lunch before coming over to my house to watch finish Grown-Ups, which we watched slightly before the start of our exams this couple of weeks. After sending her off in the evening I went over to the gym to work out with a few teammates, have our dinner and head home. Simple days are simply the best.

Today marks the 1000th post of my blog since it was created on the 2nd of October in 2004.

I haven't been writing recently because of an injury at the base of my pinky which is proving to be rather awkward when I am typing, but is otherwise negligible. Been busy with quite a number of things these few days, training with TPN dragons, supper with the clique, dinner cum birthday celebrations for the 4 September babies and working with the contractor company for the recently ended Singapore Food Expo.

It's my last paper tomorrow already!

Can't wait for everything to end, there are already some activities planned out for the days after the papers end tomorrow, first thing first will of course be meeting out the rest of the Dragonboat peeps at the stadium to make up for the training sessions I have missed out for at least a week! Then at night I will be going for supper with Alvin and a few other peeps for a short catch-up session. The bulk of this holidays will be spent taking up driving lessons for my long overdue driver's license. The green fragile piece of Provisional Driving License is already getting all crumpled up sitting in the notes compartment of my wallet.

Oh well, all the best for the rest of the peeps having their papers for the remainder of the two weeks before the holidays, mine are already half-screwed, half-screwed because the last paper is tomorrow, and I will possibly be fully-screwed by the time all the papers end. These past weeks have literally made me live a life like a pig. I wake up late nearly every morning due to the late night session spent studying the previous night, then I will start to take out the notes and type out everything and hopes everything gets in my head, or read through the notes till I am tired in the late evening and go for a nap. Then when I wake up I will study till 10pm, playing a few WC3 games with the peeps before going back to the books. Its really taxing to stay up late every night, seriouslyyy, don't understand how girlfriend is able to do it every night without feeling tired the next day.

Its really an eye-opener to see this kind of things on live television, seeing the police storm the bus, shots being fired, before a body slumped from the broken front doors.

It's been awhile since I have undertaken a school project of such a magnitude that is so time consuming and taxing to complete. A total of at least 100 pages at least for the report, not to mention the individual assets of the companies we have to come out with, the vulnerabilities, threats and countermeasures that must be made up. Furthermore, not all of our group-mates are cooperative to turn up for the meetup to discuss and delegate the tasks to do.

What can I say more, all these just for a miserable meager 20% for my overall marks in this Security Management Practices module.

The papers had many notable headlines recently, the lengthening of sentence for the graffiti artist who made his way into the MRT depot with his accomplice unnoticed, the coroner's inquiry into the Hilton hotel tragic death fall. But the one that really caught my eye was the lack of spectators turn out at the ongoing YOG(Youth Olympic Games) events, partly because, as a typical Singaporean late teen, I should be going out with friends in droves to catch this so called rare and once in a lifetime opportunity unfolding just practically at my doorstep.

But the fact is, I barely find the YOG events noteworthy at all. Back to the point one year ago on March 24th when Singapore announced on national TV that it won the tender over Moscow to host the YOG, I don't see any significance in hosting the first Youth Olympics in Singapore. At any rate, I won't be going to watch the YOG anytime soon, even though a few of my friends had expressed their interests in watching the finals, but all of them eventually realised that the $30 could be put to better use during rainy days.

The main reasons of not going to the YOG includes:

The lack of interest in sporting events.
The unfamiliarity with the athletes in YOG as compared to OG(Olympic Games).
The $30 ticket pricing of the finals.
Working at the YOG beats going to watch the YOG. ($8/hr is better than working at any other temporary jobs).
Events which include our national team will most probably be shown on public TV.

Oh well, maybe when the tickets starts to rain from the sky, I just might consider.

I have the weirdest dream that I was serving NS when GF came over a week ago, when i fell asleep on my bed while watching her play Sims 3 that day. And this has nothing to do from any love from having to perform National Service when my time comes. Perhaps it got to do with the lunch I had with the Secondary School Clique that day, or perhaps it was the other evening with the CSCC peeps when I was seated next to Kian Tiong and Ivan who were chatting their camp stuff over dinner.

Nevertheless, the worst thing that I can ever think of now is going into NS and getting into some shitty infantry unit doing urban ops, "chionging" up and down the hills to "train" everyday. But Jun Rong had probably placated my fears by saying I will undoubtedly love the way life is like in Tekong.

Well, I guess I shall see how it will all goes in a year's time.

I guess this time it really is goodbye.

Its the most heart-wrenching of all things to see your friend in pain and not being able to say or do anything to console him. Today was really dejecting for all of us who were there to say our final goodbyes to one of our friends, only to see the another etched in pain and sorrow, without much we could do to help him alleviate his pain.

I hope you are on your way to a better place now my dear friend.

But how many exactly knows how fragile life really is.

Sometimes things just happen out of the blue in your ordinary life, and we call it tragedies, accidents, and we think of how everything might have went if everything like these never happened.

It took me awhile after Chuan Jun texted me this morning to realise what happened, that Moon Kian and Cindy had been involved in an accident in Malaysia and in the events that ensued, Cindy tragically passed away. I have known the couple for more than two years now, and the last time I have seen the both of them was at Playnation during our last meet up. It’s really hard to imagine what Moon Kian must be going through now, after all these times they have been together.

Rest in peace Cindy, our hearts are with you. And Moon Kian, if you are reading this, rest well, all of us are here for you if you need us.

Its been long people! (:

But here I am back to update all of the things I haven't really have the time to do so for the past few months. GF just left Singapore for Hong Kong a few hours ago and when she's not even back, I will be leaving for Kuantan, Malaysia for a vacation of my own with my family on Sunday. There have been so much happening over the past few months that I don't know where to start.

But here are the more recent ones. On 10th of June, I created my first Twitter account out of boredom in the middle of my MSTs, and I found out out of my 20+ followers, I have 8+ that I don't know who they were, and I deleted them, so I am left with 12 followers. Now that's pretty pathetic, so please do add me up if you have one and you know me!

And on the 11th of June, after our training at Bedok Reservoir, the bunch of us peeps who went to AMK mac to watch South Africa vs Mexico's opening match in South Africa were greeted with messages from friends and family that our faces were on page A12 of the Saturday's Straits Times! This remains as one of the funniest moments yet.

Took a walk down to Marina Bay Sands with GF on the 14th (:

Verdict: Go there after its done, way too many dust clouds there for comfort.

Watched The Karate Kid and The A-Team this week and last, pretty nice for a remake for both of the films, didn't really watched the original A-Team film before, but the action was intense, and it was way too cool to be missed.

The Karate Kid remains fundamentally the same as the film I watched on AXN a couple of years back, but the change of cast is really much much more close to the heart, Jaden Smith from The Pursuit of Happyness and The Day The Earth Stood Still and who can forget Jackie Chan. Awww, I am still impressed as I was when I watched him in the Chinese martial arts film when I was young.

Go watch people! Don't miss it, definitely a must to watch it in the cinemas! (:

Camp is finally over!

1 whole week of shuttling between work and school, training the GPs, being the medic in camp. Every time after FOC it felt like the 7 days really weren't enough, the thrill of knowing that new friends will be made, seeing the campers enjoying this and that of the camp, every year Freshmen Orientation Camp reaps its own rewards for the GPs, GLs, OCs and campers.

The days of being a GPT have finally came to an end with this camp, the GPS had really learnt alot the past week, and I will be looking forward to working together the GPs I have trained along with Wei Chuan on the next camp (:

It just feels so weird to be here working when all the people I know are working their asses off preparing for the oncoming Freshmen Orientation Camp. Today's the first day of Prep Camp, and I'm working on the 4th week of my attachment now. All the things on my mind are just the games, how the GPs are doing, and if everything will go on as fine as planned. Hello world.

I'm working sales on level 1 of my company today, a much needed respite from the boredom of working at the service centre downstairs. Work today had been so far so good, its great that the boss of my company treats all of us very well, and gives the occasion joke when we are working. Well, work here is a lot slacker, and my supervisor doesn't really cares if I'm playing games on his office computer as long as I work when a rare customer comes around. To think of it its already been nearly 3 weeks since I have started work here, got acquainted with my colleagues and time started to pass much faster.

But still, can't wait for school to start! Much needed long break next week! (:

Its the start of my attachment this holidays!

Thats why I haven't gotten any updates these past weeks, there have been so many things happening everyday at my workplace. So relieved that everyone there is so easy to get along with, and there's all kind of personalities over there, an Indian who can speak Malay, another who speak perfect Chinese and Chinese dialects, an uncle who nags like my old man, another one who is tall and that like to "chee-hong" all sorts of girls and a funny batch of interns whom are all from the same school as I am. For my attachment sake I would not be able to release the name of the company I'm working for right at the moment, but for those who are concerned, I'm still living it well, the people are great, the boss treats us humanely and there's still some rare moments that we get to enjoy while we are working. So no worries! (: Really clamoring for the start of school again, there's going to be so much chatter about our attachments, anticipating all the stories that will be coming in from my classmates! (:

Anyways, 11months with girlfriend is coming around soon! Can't wait! (((: Really had a great time with girlfriend before the holidays start, and CSCC day this year was fantastic, great job OCs, more 'LA JIs' next year please! And for those Year 1s who voted me as Mr Guai Lan of the club, mwhahahahaha, you shall see what 'guai lan-ness' i shall unleash on all of you this Saturday! Okay, for those who think that it is best for me to keep mum about this entire fiasco, I'm sorry, but I'm breaking my silence today. Maybe its because everyone have a over-skewed perception that one side had more pros than cons than the other, that everyone that outperform each other to be on "that" side of this fiasco. We have our reasons to put you in places that you now belong to, and I have seen enough blogs over the weekend to come up with my own assumptions.

But I don't let my assumptions rule over my head to cloud my thoughts.

That's the main difference that everyone must get clear right at this moment. It's one thing to have opinions on your own, another when your unwanted opinions are aired openly.

There's so many things that have been going by these recent days that I haven't been able to blog regularly for my readers to read. For one, my Facebook wall had been flooded by free Pokemons, and then now the Haiti aid appeals, I have been busy going for trainings on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, conducting training FO trainings and interviews for the Year 1s on Saturday.

I really hope there's still some time to hang out with GF before all the ITP stuff and exams come rushing in. This week's going to be another hell again. Three assignment deadlines on Friday, trainings today and on Thurday.

If I'm able to fast forward the time now, I would rather it goes 13 weeks ahead so that everything ends and I would be able to have a peaceful 1st year with GF.

Throughout these months you have seen the best and the worst of me, know me more than my parents could have known me for this 19 years. Alot have been happening recently, for once, SP open house was over, the O lvls results were out, I joined a new water sports and I am training another batch of GLs and GPs with another set of new trainers. And next week will be my ninth month with GF. It feels a lot fresher all of a sudden, to be engaged in so many things, to be doing the things I like, and knowing that everything is going pretty smoothly for once.

Right now, GF is having the most wonderful meal of seafood at East Coast, while I just finished my miserable set of vegetable rice and a bag of tabao-ed teh ping, with all my usual buds all having their wonderful time out. Oh well, this is life.

Well, I'm still feeling a bit of the Monday blues albeit the fact that today is already Tuesday and I shouldn't be feeling the least of that. Lecture had been really dry the whole day. Morning lecture was spent busy typing out all the answers for the tutorial that was flashed on screen, before hastily packing my bag to leave to have lunch at FC4 with my classmates who were already there. Its been the usual routine for Tuesdays every since this semester started, and the lecture now hasn't been refreshing at all.

I'm really just looking forward to going to the gym tonight, as nathan puts it in the sms he sent me, "going for torture?"

Oh well.

Anyways, 9 months with GF is just a week away!

Ahhh...its the start of school again.

I'm really dreading this day, and apparently scoring well for SDT papers doesn't do that much of a help for the Monday blues, it was like going back to all the same old routine yesterday. Tomorrow is yet another long day again, with lessons lining up all the way till 2pm plus, and maybe a break in between to hang out with GF, then its back to school for FO training. I hope the attendance doesn't drop that much just because its a school day.

Oh well, we'll see how it goes again tomorrow.

Girlfriend is finally coming back today at midnight! I really can't wait, really missed that girl very much. Haven't been seeing her for a couple of days now, and the last time we met each other was the day I returned to Singapore from Langkawi on Christmas Day. We only spent a few hours in each other's company before she had to return home for dinner, and then the next thing I remembered was waking up sleepy headed and taking her call, before i messaged her a few times before going back to sleep. And then the next day was waking up miserable about not spending the morning properly sending her off on the phone.

Anyways, been up to a few things these few days, notably FO training this morning, which reminds me strangely of last year's, in the exact same training location, just I'm working with another bunch of trainers and a different batch of Year 1s. Hopefully this year was be as fulfilling as the last, and the peeps will learn a little more about FOC in the course of these training sessions.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR in advance! Will be most likely heading out to celebrate the New Year with GF tomorrow, so I won't be home much! Cya guys when school reopens (:

Gore, gore, gore and gore. But definitely a must watch! Though most of the action scenes shows mutilated body parts, torsos being cut into halves and humans being dismembered in all kinds of ways possible by a blade, the plot was pretty great, showing flashbacks to connect the plot, and the handsome Rain that have GF salivating all over the floor, oh well exaggeration, but she was pretty much close to that. Bring along a plastic bag if you are bringing your girlfriend along, or your friend you are bringing along is a gay. Nevertheless, great watch! (((:

Watched Ninja Assassin and had lunch together with GF after school yesterday, which turned out to be as early as 11am yesterday because tutorial at 5 was cancelled. The rest of the morning was helping some of the Year 2s peeps in class with WSNA since I have already completed the module before.

Its been a very great birthday this year, with the surprises planned up by GF, the individual gifts I received from the peeps and just a simple and quiet dinner at Din Tai Fung I had with GF on the actual day. I believed some thanks are in order, so thank you everybody who had wished me on FB, through SMS, verbally and of course all the thoughtful things you guys made for me or gave on my birthday. Thanks Joann and Julian for baking that really nice potato/cheese/ham thingy on my birthday(it tastes great, dont worry), Benjamin and Yuping for that really nice card and shirt from FOX, Pearlyn and Ivan for the balloon and the cute mustache that you guys wanted me to wear during the steamboat dinner, the rest of the peeps who turned up and for all that couldn't turn up but wanted to come.

Had a really good time with GF on the 19th, though we were both having school on that day, and we have no plans to skip any lessons. Met up with GF after school on that day to have Ajisen for dinner, before we took the bus to Shenton Way and made our way to the Flyer. All I can say is, Singapore's night view is really great, the city lights, the light emanating from the cars on the expressway. Pictures up soon when I'm free alright!

Thanks for being here with me for 7 months GF, yet another milestone for the both of us! Many more months ahead!

Things haven't really been smooth and rosy these few days, I'm done with a slight cough and sore throat, with the occasional phlegm struggling to get out from my throat.

Oh well, its not that I wanted it to be there anyways. School have been boring and daunting these couple of weeks, perhaps because of the upcoming MSTs. I don't even know what are the modules that I will be tested on in a couple of weeks time. And hell I have even forgot that my birthday is coming in only two weeks' time. But I can't blame anyone for it, every year my birthday falls so close to the MSTs that I don't even feel anything, even though I know there are friends who cared who bothered to ask me out for a dinner or two.

Okay, *slaps self for going into oblivion*.

7 months with GF in only 4 more days, so so looking forward to spending time with GF on Thursday this week. Had a hellavu weekend with GF last week, going to help out the Halloween event on Friday and joining in the fun with the rest of the Year 3s who consisted of only sadly, Nathan, Hweesheng, Seto, Shiying when the event started.

Friday morning was spent going out with GF to catch 2012, treating her to eat Din Tai Fung at Wisma. Definitely a must watch for the amazing visuals, Washington getting swept by a gigantic tsunami wave, buildings and skyscrapers being uprooted like like plants from the grounds. Really really very eye-catching, but too bad for the screen time, GF and my ass nearly got uprooted by the theater seats instead. Go watch 2012 now! (:

Saturday was still okay, GF came over on Friday night for a sleepover, and left the following morning for her project. Came back for a moment in the evening before Kenneth came over to fetch the both of us in his car to Jeanette's house for a BBQ. Ate hell lots of sinful hotdogs and satay meat before GF cabbed home and the rest of we continued our feast of marshmallows in chocolate fondue.

Went down to club yesterday evening after school for FO workshop along with GF, to talk about our experience and to let the Year 1s know more about the roles and responsibilities of the upcoming FO. This year's workshop was just as fun and interesting as the past years', with the occasional misspells, slip of tongue and all the usual stuff. But hopefully this workshop will also give them more insight into what they will be heading into, which was why there was a FO workshop tailored for us when we were Year 1s.

School have been pretty much boring and mundane these few weeks, I'm really looking for a respite from all of these. Project work haven't really started for now, but when it comes, I really dread to think about how busy I will be, much less think about how boring school have become.

Oh well, toodles, tutorial for now.

Its finally November!

A month which GF and I will be celebrating our first birthdays together, and of course our seventh on the 19th (:

Was supposed to head to Sentosa for Spooktacular on Halloween yesterday, but the tickets were sold out on the ticketing centre even before we got there. Everyone was visibly disappointed after that, and we spent our time stoning outside Vivo's GV until we finally decided to head down to the Asian Civilisations Museum down at Raffles Place. We didn't really expect to have a fun time there, since our moods were already dampened because of the weather(it was raining yesterday night) and that we couldn't go to the place we plan to celebrate Halloween at. But in the end it turned out to be quite fun, with the free Barcardi given out (which tasted more like orange juice) and of course the performances on level 2 after our really short tour of the gallery.

School's starting tomorrow again, and time seems to always pass very fast on the weekends, GF is officially addicted to SIMS 3, she ignored me and played it the entire day we were at home yesterday, damnnn ):

It smells, and the lesson is boring.

I'm so so sick of ADBMS class. First of all, I didn't choose this elective module because I'm interested in it. Second of which, the lecturer keep getting my name wrong even on the second week after i corrected her so many times. I'm really so tired of correcting her that I just didn't bothered when she did it again today. Seriously, none of us are really listening to the lesson now, the other half of the class is drifting away on another universe of facebook and surfing the net. And the fucking kanni nabei chaocheebye china guy always smells like he haven't bathe for ages. I don't think cigarette smoke or car exhaust smell as bad as he is, he smells like rotten vegetables and smelly socks.

How am i supposed to concentrate with this stinking smell beside meeee. Dying for lessons to end.

First week of school passed by like a breeze last week, its hard to imagine just a moment ago we were enjoying our holidays, and now we are back in the same old boring classrooms up at SP listening to lectures and doing our tutorials again. Me of course, doesn't listen to lectures, and much less do my tutorial. And GF of course, will definitely prepare a long knife to make me into a wonderful meal of pork chop.

Well, then. Lets stop at that.

Went to watch Julie and Julia during my long 6 hours break yesterday with GF, it was really a really great show, though I was expecting less of it when I saw the movie poster. Come on, who thinks great of a movie with a poster of two ladies with one laughing to herself and another licking her fingers. I don't even know it was a show about French cooking until much later on.

The weekends last week was spent with an eventful trip to the Old Ford Factory down at Upper Timah Road, and then down to Bukit Timah Hill where we went to take pictures at the quarry, getting chased by monkeys eyeing GF's ice-cream. Yes serious, we were chased down by a bunch of monkeys.

I know my entries have been long and wordy of late, but well...TOO BAD SUCKERS.

Its the start of school again! And since I haven't really blogged an entry since eons ago and that I'm trapped in the old BizIt library until 10am because my lesson got cancelled, you guys shall have the boredom of reading an entirely unillustrated entry.

The holidays have been filled with activities, though I would say none is really very fun and interesting, except for the trip to Pulau Ubin at the last week of the holidays, which I've blogged out happily on the day after I came back as opposed to the tens and thousands of entries I've typed out and drafted but never really seen the light of the day. The first few weeks of the holidays was pretty vague, I could only remembered slacking my ass off at the PC Show, seeing familiar faces almost everyday with GF, Sihao, Xin Yi and Seto, repeating again and again until someone make a purchase on the products(HP Business laptops) that we were promoting. The second week of the holidays were most spent at home, watching movies overnight at my house when GF makes the occasional stay over at my house.

Then, again on the 5th monthsary we were supposed to go out for a outdoor screening for "Hotel for Dogs", but the event ended up being cancelled after a heavy rain. 23rd to 25th of September was spent on a 3 days back to back First Aid course with Seto at the Singapore Red Cross Training Centre, which starts at 9am daily and ends at 6pm daily. Cabbed all the way down from Dhoby to SP for Connection Camp after our course ended on Friday, because an uncle who happens to live in Clementi offered to give us a lift on the first day of the course just when we got to know him. The three days of camp was spent being a medic, a sabotage MC and a really free GP.

Met up with Sis and Julian sometime near the end of the holidays during the Mid Autumn Festival too, playing sparklers and carrying lanterns at Pasir Ris Park, and who can forget we made a rocket that self incinerated itself in less than 1min! The downside was I have to cabbed down after sending GF home, or alternatively take the NR and take a few hours to get home. The next day after that was Escape theme park with Ivan and Pearlyn, the only rides worth going for a second round was the Go Karts, the rest of the thrilling rides were either closed or under maintenance.

Okay its time for lessons now!

GF and I have been wearing similar shirts for two consecutive days! Not that we want to, but it was merely a very coincidental thing. Today was probably the best day in the whole of the holidays for me and maybe for GF as well.

We went to Pulau Ubin! Its a very impromptu trip, but I was really feeling very very glad seeing GF enjoy herself so much there, despite all the initial fears of insects and other creepy crawlies. Was kinda worried in the morning about the weather, since the meteorological service on NEA's website predicted that it would rain for the next few hours or so, and it did. But we ended up not abandoning our plans for the day and went instead went all out ahead with it. Really really so glad that we did, because not only did we managed to get there with the rain stopping just in time, we also managed to take 145 pictures over there.

We kinda cheated a little since this shot was taken when we were leaving, but you get the point (:

Here's GF getting excited after seeing the panoramic view of the quarry below while cycling up the trails to Chek Jawa! Went up to the observation tower after we got in there, then off to the boardwalk, where we replenish our energy levels with Goreng Pisangs and Peanut Pancakes brought over from the mainland at the shelter.

Chek Jawa's visitor centre, a British Colonial House from the past! The visitor centre was interesting, with a built in aquarium with a box fish in it and a fireplace that is said to be the last in Singapore, or technically, Pulau Ubin!

Saw a total of 10-15 wild boars after we got out of Chek Jawa! The NParks officer was kind enough to point it out to us when we cycled past, talk about being lucky! (:

Had a little break at the old community centre area after we finished our trip to the eastern part of the island, rehydrating ourselves and tending to GF's mosquito bites.

Went over to the area near the German girl shrine at the western part of the island afterwards, took loads of pictures there! And made a bouquet of mixed weeds and flowers for GF (((:

Ended our trip after an exhausting day at around 6pm, but not before we had a coconut drink from one of the stalls over at the jetty. AWESOMEEEEEE (((:

Had a really simple day with GF today, there wasn't any expensive dinners or exquisite gifts. Just simple handmade cards that we made for each other like our other monthsaries, and having sandwiches we made together for dinner. Though the rain spoilt our plans for today, but spending time in each others' company really compensates for everything (:

Next Wednesday will be the date of release of the exam results, its fast how the first week of the holidays is already over and now the second week is whizzing by so fast. I'm really hoping my pay for the COMEX will come really fast, there's so much things i want to buy to upgrade my PC. Another 2GB of ram and either a Creative T3130 2.1 or a T6160 5.1 speaker system to complement the system. The speakers now are really far too lousy, considering my frequent needs to watch movies and listen to music on my desktop. For now the T6160 is really gaining the upper hand, i can imagine sitting in my room with that kinda of 5.1 system.

Then again, I'm feeling lazy to work. Sooo, I'll probably have to wait till my coffers fill up on the first day of next month.

Its an amazing 13 days since i last blogged my last entry on blogspot. (not that i have been posting anywhere else.) Been busying myself with working at the COMEX fair and catching loads of sleep in between the hectic schedules for the past few days, the work at the COMEX fair haven't change much for after 3 months, same lousy basic pay, full of drawbacks but plenty of commission pay. That's the main draw anyway, this time round we even got a worse place and plenty of competition from additional 20 odd people hired to work along side us.

On a brighter note, watched The Time Traveler's Wife with GF at Cineleisure today, 4 days after we slogged our lives off for some extra cash to tide around the holidays. Its a pretty nice movie with plenty of nice scenes, and the plot is pretty attractive, a pity all the scenes kept focusing on the lead teleporting to a different time and all in all these scenes only lasted a mere 3-4 minutes before being abruptly cut off. It just jumps through again and again without any chronological order.

Can't wait for Saturday to come! (((:

Its the start of the holidays, but somehow the excitement and happiness that should have engulfed me eluded me instead. Yesterday's SCT paper was really a flop, i went in poorly prepared for the paper and came out disappointed with myself. Every semester i tell myself i would change and listen to lessons and do every single tutorial thrown at me. But that promise just keeps slipping off once the second week of the semester starts. Like my PT says, I've never fallen sleep in his class, but i was always in standby mode, not paying attention as well.

Well oh well, too late for regrets now.

Today was the first day of the holidays for me, and it didn't felt like it in the least at all. The rainy day made the morning swim seem very gloomy. And the cancel of plans left me hanging around facing the four walls in my bedroom. I really wish i could look forward to the holidays. But at least for now, the chains of the papers have been released on GF. Really glad for that girl who stayed up so late to study for her papers (:

Can't wait for the exams to be over!

There's been so little to blog about these days, its just the mundane hitting the books routine over the past few days and a couple of movies with GF in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. And to think I haven't watched G.I Joe yet!

Orphan's twist is so goddamn shocking that i wouldn't mind watching it over again, Where Got Ghost is so downright lame that you find it funny only at a few parts. Sooo, you know which is much more worth your dollars. Time to hit the sacks, cya peeps after the papers!

Hello Jello Peepos!

Been going out these few days and doing the projects when I'm free. Saturday was a pretty fun day, met up with Robin and Shuting for RWPS presentation preparation in the afternoon, before going out with GF after she's done with her project to get her shoes down at Far East's Left Foot. Dinner-ed with the club peeps at night to for a belated birthday celebration for Shiying and an advanced one for Seto.

Watched 3D UP. Definitely a very good experience, but i don't think I will be going for a second 3D film, ever! The glasses they provide really get in the way all the time, pressing down on my nose so hard that it left a mark.

Tonned over at KT's house for the night after the movies along with GF and most of the peeps, turned in after a late night chat session with her (: The next day on National Day was alright, took the bus home early in the morning, had a bath, a short nap before heading out to Bedok to have dinner with my dear girl. Went all the way down to Marina Barrage to see the fireworks, but disappointingly the major ones got blocked up by the IRs and all in all the fireworks lasted only a mere 5minutes or so before it abruptly ended.

Spent the day today finishing up my RWPS presentation slides and GEMS video, with GF coming over in the afternoon to do her projects.

Really hectic week ahead! Can't wait for the holidaysss.

Month of August.

Its the start of a new month again, how time flies. Last week had been a really enjoyable week, finally finished up the actual Poly50 run, met up with Sis and Julian for dinner after god knows how long. It was really an enjoyable day on Wednesday, was glad to see GF so happy that day too, eating Aston's for dinner, walking around in Carrefour and looking at all the food. And the four of us sitting down at Tom's Palette for ice-cream! (((: GRANNY'S FAVOURITE FTW!

It was really a fantastic day, can't wait to meet up again (:

On the hindsight, we got 25th for Poly50 this year! Really really didn't expect the jump in standings from last year's 32nd, especially after the start of the run. Felt so mentally draining and tired after the intial sprint from the checkpoint i was from. Then the pace starts to pick up and everything just starts to go on smoothly till the end of the race. Really happy to run with the rest of the peeps, Seto, Hwee Sheng, Ivan, Wen Long, Zhanqi, Gen Li, Jing Wen, Belinda and Gina. Though i might be kinda of an ass being the captain sometimes, but i'm really blessed to have such a bunch of fast runners running with me this year!

Just two weeks of training only, really quite unbelievable! (:

Yesterday's time with GF was really fun, had lots of laughter and great time with each other! Will be definitely looking forward to times like these in the future ((((((((: Take care of yourself these few days my dear, i know you are busy with projects but your health is of the utmost importance! ILU (:

Poly50 in only 2 days time!

I really hope i will recover by then, down with a slight flu now, coughing and having a blocked nose. Feeling very sick and lethargic, not that i dont love skipping school, i really can't afford to do that now with all the projects piling up and Poly50 competition just a few days away. I won't want to let everybody down on Wednesday, especially meeting up with J&J with GF after so so long, its time she know these really good friends of mine.

The last Poly50 training went on without any incident on Saturday, though it started late but it ended on time. Everyone should have the image of how things should go on Wednesday and hopefully we can get a better standing than last year.

Happy Birthday Julian!

Had a really great day at the party at the Preview Lounge on Saturday Evening at Julian's 21st party, met up with Ben, Kelvin, Krayon and a few other seniors whom i haven't met for quite a long time! Not to mention the buffet spread was great, so much so we kept going for the fruit tarts at the end of the table. Its a really simple celebration, but all of us really had fun catching up with one another after so long.

Today was the second training for Poly 50, I couldn't exactly say all of us did well today, but I'm glad everyone managed to complete the 7 laps we ran today in spite of all the pain and muscle aches that was brought on from last week's training, we will still be having 2 more trainings so i hope everyone have a good rest tomorrow night so that we can train to the best of our potentials for the big day next Wednesday.

Hang in there peeps! Just a week to go, we can do it (: And thanks for GF for staying back to have dinner for me, really fortunate to have you by my side!

Poly50, projects and meetups.

Been very busy the previous week, doing assignments, training for Poly50 and an impromptu meetup with the NPCC peeps.

My legs are still aching from last week's Poly50 training, we actually managed to get together a team of runners 2 weeks before the competition! We're so so screwed now, with only 3 trainings in sight and the run just less 9 days away. I really hope we can get a better position than last year's 32 considering we have more than a couple of fast runners and the odds of becoming the top 25s higher.

Had a meetup with Vincent after he came back from Australia for a short visit on Saturday, along with the usual NPCC peeps; and had lunch at Yishun Blk 925's Chicken Rice in the afternoon. Sad to say he had already applied for an Australian citizenship(He already got his PR Status) so he won't be coming back after his stint in Melbourne. Nevertheless, we still had a great time that afternoon, and he might be dropping by for a visit tomorrow to SP to meetup for lunch and take a look around the campus.

Poly50 training tomorrow! Another evening to sweat it all out again.

Had dinner at Dhoby Ghaut's Astons after waiting for GF to finish her papers today, along with the 2A/02 peeps; Ewen, Jeffrey, Robin and Shuting. Was supposed to do part of the SCT (Smart Card Technology) project today, but we ended up reading the newspapers, playing the psp and trying out Sims 3 on Robin's laptop instead. Shopping at Bugis was really productive today! Bought a total of 2 bermudas and polo tees, and Bro paid all of the expenses including lunch.

Finished my one and only paper today, couldn't really said i was well-prepared, maybe just "prepared". The multiple choice was a giveaway, the structured questions was a near killer, i was smoking my way through nearly half of the questions there, whereas the rest of the questions i genuinely know the answers. Nowww, I'm beginning to really miss the holidays. Going to school for SCT project meet up with the class tomorrow, after Bugis with Bro. Its going to be another boring boring day.

Its the last day of the holidays already, how time flies. It was just the start of the holidays 3 weeks ago and now in a blink of an eye everything had ended. Went out with GF to study at Raffles Place and City Hall today, our usual haunt to mug at besides at my house and yes, GF had already acquainted with my Mum pretty well these few days she's been over. Been trying to keep my fringe long and thick during these few weeks, kinda tired with short hair already!

The Subway crew at Marina Square was pretty funny today, GF and i went over for lunch today and we had the both sandwiches placed on the same tray. The person actually took a marker and wrote down this.

On the hindsight, mugging session today was nearly a failure for me, i ended up sleeping around 40% of the time i was supposed to be studying, but managed to redeem myself by finishing up my notes after my first nap.

The school holidays are nearly over! Been so free the entire holidays, because i have only one paper for MST and no FYP, ITP to worry about. Life of a forward student is gooood, okay thinking back at it if i got kicked out of school it would had been worse. Watched a couple of movies during these 3 weeks, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Monsters vs Aliens, Drag Me to Hell on 2nd month last Friday and Transformers Revenge of The Fallen today.

Monsters vs Aliens is really not bad, though most of you would probably say its too kiddish to be worth your time and money to watch the movie, but the ending is really very predictable and boorish, typical that of a cartoon film.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is greattt, one of the best movie in the cinemas now, other than the overrated Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The latter is really too draggy, GF and I went to watch it at the 10.30am slot today to avoid the crowds and we ended up sitting in the theater fidgeting and adjusting our positions so that our ass won't feel sore from the rigid position we have to maintain during the entire film. The second movie was pretty alright, but definitely not as good as the first, just too much action and marred by a very slipshod storyline.

Its the boring day of the week again, the only consolation being that this is already the last week of school before the term break starts next week, and that second month with GF is approaching soon (: My holiday schedule is filling up pretty fast already, assignments, makeup lectures, mugging sessions with GF and definitely some DOTAAA. The only thing that is missing is catching up with the peeps. Its been pretty long since i met up with the whole lot of them already, been giving a lot of excuses not to meet up. And I'm feeling really guilty over it. Hopefully we will get to meet up on Saturday, though that is likely not to happen with everyone being so busy in the recent days.

For now, it's back to lesson time. Sigh sigh sigh.

Museums.

11 days without a blog entry now! I know you peeps are probably milling around for a few days hoping for an entry. It's been a really tiring but enjoyable weekend (: Went out with GF on Friday to watch Night At the Museum 2, and then to the real museums on Museum Day yesterday.

Night at The Museum 2 was a disappointment, not much of a storyline in the entire movie, just a lot of funny lines and actions all packed into the screening time. The original Night of the Museum is definitely better; some movies just can't have sequels.

Sunday day out with GF was really fun, went to visit The Asian Civilisations Museum, The National Museum and The Philatelic Museum all in a single day! Was really tiring walking all over the place, but it was really worth it to see her to happy (: Really enjoyed the trip, looking at the stamps, the exhibits and taking pictures outside the Museum.

Angels and Demons

Watched Angels and Demons yesterday with GF after school at The Cathay, its a must watch! It was really more thrilling as compared to The Da Vinci Code, more actions, more cliffhangers and gory scenes than any current movie screening at the theaters. And the suspense of the movie was kept throughout the film, all the way till the end when the twist was revealed. Then you will go "OMG" at the revelation. I'm not going to spoil anyone of you here, but you will thank me for not spoiling you after you watched the movie. Its a great one!

Anyways, our 1st month was a quiet affair of eating dinner at Glasshouse's Fish & Co after school, met coincidentally with Joann and Julian at The Cathay after so so long, its really great to see them again, furthermore the two of them at one go. I'm sure this Saturday would be even better, I haven't really see alot of the graduates from last year for quite some time now.

Been pretty long since i last blogged here, GF is already back from Batam, my desktop is already back and up and running, and the assignments for all of the modules are slowly piling up one by one, and next week is my first monthsary with GF already. Its been a pretty boring week, filled with tutorials, lectures, so mundane that it will even make a primary school kid's life looks colourful. I hope this won't be long...

Its lecture time now, and i didn't even bring my laptop today, because of all the shoes and clothes that had already taken up a huge space in my bag. And now i'm regretting it, because i still got another half an hour to bear with. But thanks to Nicholas i was able to use facebook and at least waste my time away for now. Meeting Mervin to gym later, as well as to swim, i forgot my tanning lotion again today; STM must be catching up with me with age.

Happy Birthday in advance Nigel! Though i know you won't be reading my blog. Its been 13 years since i know you already. Hiding in the closet during Primary 1 to scare our tuition teacher in CFPS, being prefects together in Primary 5, to digging your mucus and placing it under everybody's table in Secondary 4, you've definitely changed alot.

GF managed to called from Batam just now, felt really really great! Though the 34minutes were short, but it really meant alot (((;

On hindsight, temperature taking was a real bore, was supposed to take a total of two times for the entire day (once in the morning and another in the afternoon) but i only took once and submitted twice. RWPS lesson wasn't any better, the lecturer was talking to himself throughout the lesson, and he made us feel kinda guilty when he looked pretty dissapointed when he asked several questions and answered it himself. It must be really really embarrassing.

3rd Week of School

Its the third of week of school already, and GF just left for Batam this morning. I'm really really starting to miss that girl. Sent her off to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal after we had breakfast at Bedok this morning, it was a really short 1 hour, but we were glad we both get to enjoy each other's company before she left for the dreadful 5 days.

The H1N1 influenza had been getting really scary till date, extra measures were taken up by SP when we returned to school today, thermal scanners at the gate, daily temperature taking starting from tomorrow, lanyards to be issued to all SP students. My PT even called me just now to make sure i didn't travelled to any other countries during the past few days and won't be travelling to in the coming months as well. I hope everybody will be fine, especially GF in Batam. Skipped gym session with the couple of peeps today, because i was feeling really tired and partially because i was feeling lazy and lethargic. Anyways, the past week with GF before she left for Batam was really great, went to the Marina Barrage, Botanic Gardens and watched Wolverine at GV.

Monday bluesss, okay it wasn't as bad as i thought, i'm in the same class as the couple of peeps that were my classmates from last semester, plus my timetable this semester is pretty slack. Its just so weird to be back in school again, after all the Freshmen Orientation activities held over the holidays. I was dreading this morning, because i was late for at least 15mins for the first day of school, all because of the train disruption that left me at Choa Chu Kang, of all places. Ended up with me waiting train after train for at least 15mins!

I'm so looking forward to Wednesday now. (:

Yesterday was by far the first birthday bash i ever did in the middle of the road with the peeps, we did it in the middle of Bugis Street! And attracted the attention of the police just barely 2 minutes into it. The police officer just came and kept asking "Who is going to clean up!?" He must had figured out we will douse him in flour and eggs as well because he left as soon as he came.

I'm totally totalled today, so exhausted, so tired after only a few rounds of basketball with Junwei and the rest. It really didn't help that the weather was so blistering hot that i couldn't even take a nap when i reached home just now. I just tossed and turned until i couldn't take it anymore and went to bathe.

FOW prep tmr, can't wait to get tanned! To the peeps out there who are sick, get well soon! (:
